About the Lane Memorial Library Friends
We are a volunteer, non-profit organization, formed in 1958, to bring together persons interested in our library in order to FOCUS public attention on the library and stimulate public support of the library, FOSTER greater use of the library and its services, ENCOURAGE gifts, endowments and bequests to the library, and SUPPORT the library in developing its programs and facilities as a vital multi-media center for the community.

The FRIENDS hold one general meeting each September, which is open to the public. We also strive to hold general meetings at least bi-annually.
Our board meetings are typically the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm at the library. All are welcome!
